Delete Your Account
Deleting your account in the app
Open the Maali app and sign in. Go to Settings (the ⚙️ icon on your dashboard) and tap “Delete account”. After you confirm, your account is closed immediately and your personal data is deleted from Maali, subject to the retention exceptions below.
If you can no longer sign in
If you have lost access to the app or your sign-in email, you can still request deletion by emailing us at privacy@maali.dev from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the request.
What gets deleted
We delete your Maali account record (your email and profile details) and your in-app transaction history. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What may be retained
Identity verification (KYC) and transaction records held by our regulated partner, Noah, may need to be retained for a statutory period to meet legal, regulatory, and anti-money-laundering obligations, even after your Maali account is closed. We retain only what the law requires and delete the rest.
Your funds
Maali is self-custody and does not hold your funds. Deleting your account does not move or recover any funds in your wallet. Withdraw any remaining balance BEFORE you delete your account — once the account is deleted we cannot help you recover access to those funds.
